Lanka U19 cricketers to tour England

The Sri Lanka Under19 cricket team is due to make a tour of England on 14 August playing a series of two Youth Tests and three Youth ODIs against England Under19.  

The two Youth four-day Tests will be played at Chelmsford and at Derby, and the three Youth ODIs at Worcester and Leicester.

The tour will be the final U19 series for most of the youngsters as they will soon graduate to the Emerging category, states a Sri Lanka Cricket media release.

The tour itinerary released by SLC:

• 16-18 August: Three-Day Warm-Up game v Young Lions International XI at ECB Performance Centre, Loughborough
• 21-24 August: 1st Youth Test v England U19 at Chelmsford
• 28-31 August: 2nd Youth Test v England U19 at Derby
• 5 September: 1st Youth ODI v England U19 at Worcester
• 8 September: 2nd Youth ODI v England U19 at Worcester
• 10 September: 3rd Youth ODI v England U19 at Leicester
