Lanka make three changes for Women’s T20 Asia Cup

Sri Lanka has made three changes to their 15-member women’s cricket squad selected to take part in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup in Bangladesh from 1-16 October.

From the squad that took part in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Vishmi Gunaratne, Ama Kanchana and Udeshika Prabodhani have been replaced by Kaushini Nuthyanga, Madushika Meththananda and Tharika Sewwandi. Chamari Athapaththu will continue as captain.

Chamari Athapaththu (Captain), Hasini Perera, Harshitha Samarawickrama, Kaveesha Dilhari, Nilakshi de Silva, Anushka Sanjeevani (wk), Kaushini Nuthyanga, Oshadhi Ranasinghe, Malsha Shehani, Madushika Meththananda, Inoka Ranaweera, Rashmi Silva, Sugandika Kumari, Achini Kulasooriya, Tharika Sewwandi.
