Lasindu Karunathilake suspended for 2 matches

Former Science College, Sri Lanka Youth, and Havelock Sports Club player Lasindu Karunathilake has been suspended for two matches, after he was found guilty of punching a CR & FC player during their encounter at Havelock Park last weekend.

On-field referee Priyantha Gunaratne gave a Yellow Card, and the offence happened in front of Sarath Madugalle, who missed out the punch by the Park Club player.

Kandy Sports Club physio, Lasantha Basnayake was also been suspended for one match following an argument which occurred with the match-day doctor at the Army and Kandy encounter at Nittawela.
