Last year’s finalists Jaffna and Galle will play in the curtain-raiser match of the third edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) that is due to commence on 1 August at the R Premadasa Stadium.

The first 14 games (1-10 August) will be played at this venue and will move to Hambantota for the next six matches (from 13 August) plus the knockout games that includes the eliminator, qualifier and the final on 21 August.

The day match commences at 3 p.m. and the night game at 7:30 p.m.

Overall, there will be 24 matches played in the tournament.
