Lavindu to represent Sri Lanka at World Chess Tournament 2019

Lavindu Sohas Premarathna, a student of Lyceum International School, Anuradhapura has won the All Island Championship Under 7 age category in the Sri Lanka Schools’ Chess Association Tournament and is qualified to represent Sri Lanka at the World School Chess Tournament which is to be held in Turkey from 17-27 April. Lavindu has always been in Lyceum Anuradhapura and nurtured there, having joined the school as a lower nursery kid. One year ago, he selected chess as his extracurricular activity and he has been very committed to the game.
