Mihira Silva, a legendary Karate instructor with over 45 years of unwavering dedication to the martial arts, passed away recently.
Mihira Silva began his Karate journey at the young age of 9, demonstrating exceptional talent and discipline from the very beginning. Through years of hard work and perseverance, he earned the prestigious rank of 7th Dan, becoming an inspiration to countless students.
As he grew, Mihira devoted his life to teaching and sharing his passion, conducting classes and training camps across the country. His teachings went beyond Karate, instilling values of discipline, respect, and resilience in all those who had the privilege of learning from him.
As the elder son of the renowned Karate master M.B.D. Silva, Mihira carried forward a proud legacy, further elevating the art and contributing significantly to its growth in the region. His contributions to Karate and the lives he touched will remain etched in our hearts forever.
His final rites took place in Milan, Italy. He is father of beloved Jalna Silva and Lakna Silva.
