Sri Lanka Cricket’s Coach Education Unit yesterday commenced a level two coaching course for nearly 20 participants who represent various levels of Sri Lankan Cricket (SLC).

Sri Lanka’s women’s team player Prasadini Weerakkody was also a participant at this coaching course.
“This is a special course and the main objective of this is to enhance coaching knowledge on the modern game for all attendees, who will then be able to help Sri Lanka Cricket by identifying talent and producing future national players,” said SLC Chief Cricket Operations Officer Asanka Gurusinha, who heads the High Performance Center.
