Luxe Asia grabs PATA Sri Lanka Chapter Bowling Championship

The ‘PATA Bowling Championship 2019’ organised by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Sri Lanka Chapter was held on 30 March at the Excel World Entertainment Park, Colombo-10. The bowling tournament was organised as another initiative of the PATA Chapter to strengthen unity and cooperation amongst the member companies of the association and other Travel Trade Companies. The event was sponsored by Bally’s Entertainment. 

Luxe Asia Ltd. gained a staggering 418 points to win the title, while Holiday Plan DMC followed closely behind as runners up with 401 and Detroves Travel Ltd. scoring 355 points at the competition. 

47 teams from leading companies participated at the tournament and Luxe Asia, Holiday Plan DMC, Detroves Travel, Classic Travel, Aitken Spence Travels Ltd., Ceylon Roots Ltd., Shangri-La Hotel Colombo and Viluxer Holidays Sri Lanka competed in the final round of play as the top nine highest scoring teams.
