MAS Holdings team with 728 points emerged the winners of the Mercantile Swimming Championship 2023 concluded last Sunday at the Thurstan College Swimming Pool Complex.
This was the 10th time MAS Holdings won the title in the fourteen year history of the championship.
John Keells Holdings PLC with 658 points secured the first runners-up position while Hayleys PLC with 208 points became the second runners-up.
Around 600 swimmers from 32 mercantile organisations took part at the event organised by the Thurstan College Aquatic Club in association with the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU) for the 14th consecutive year.
Distinguished Old Boy of Thurstan College and Prime Group Chairman Premalal Brahmanage was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
