Bodyline Ltd., a division of MAS Holdings, on Monday officially handed over the 2025 Sri Lanka athletic kits to the national contingent, as part of the company’s ongoing partnership with Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA).
The handover ceremony marked the continued partnership between Bodyline and SLA, which extends through to the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
These kits, made by MAS with advanced performance-enhancing technology, will support Sri Lankan athletes as they prepare to compete on international platforms.
The kit design blends the strength of Sri Lanka’s athletes with the vibrant art of Kandyan dance. The powerful movements of the dance and the energy of athletes come together, symbolising the strength and unyielding spirit of Sri Lanka.
Bodyline CEO Sahan Rajapakse said: “We are proud to equip our athletes with high-quality performance apparel as they prepare to represent Sri Lanka internationally. We hope our partnership with SLA which has gone from strength to strength over the years, gives our athletes the confidence to perform to their fullest potential.”
MAS Holdings Group Product Transformation Officer Dilshan Mohamed said: “We continue to push the boundaries of innovation, ensuring Sri Lankan athletes have the best performance wear to excel on the global stage.”
The team will wear the newly unveiled kits as they compete in a series of international events, including the 6th Asian Under-18 Championship, the South Asian Senior Athletics Championship, World Relays, the Asian Throwing Championship, the Asian Youth Games, and the World Athletics Championship.
SLA President, Major General (Rtd.) Palitha Fernando said: “Having a reliable partner like Bodyline ensures that our athletes receive the best possible apparel and are free to focus on their training and performance without being held back. This collaboration is a testament to the shared vision of uplifting Sri Lanka Athletics.” The Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakarathne commended MAS Holdings and Bodyline for their contribution to Sri Lankan sports. “Public private partnerships such as these are invaluable to the development of our athletes. We appreciate the commitment shown by MAS in supporting the country’s sporting talent and providing them with world-class apparel.”
As Sri Lanka’s leading sportswear manufacturer, MAS continues to push the boundaries of innovation to ensure that local athletes compete at their best on the world stage.
