The first ‘CBL – Munchee’ Trophy – MCA ‘D’ Division 40-Over League Tournament 2020 reached its quarter-finals stage.
At the completion of the league stage on 26 January after 36 matches, the first four teams of the two groups qualified for the quarter-finals.
The eight top teams are:
- From Group ‘A’: Unbeaten Maliban Biscuits (20 points/NRR + 3.16), Nawaloka Hospitals (14 points/NRR + 0.44), Hirdaramani Group (12 points/NRR – 1.00) and debutants, Mode Engineering (08 points /NRR – 0.24)
- From Group ‘B’: Ansell Lanka (20 points /NRR + 2.68), David Pieris Motor Co. (20 points/NRR + 0.70), National Development Bank (NDB) (16 points, NRR 1.08) and Hemas Group (12 points/ NRR – 0.61)
