MCA “G” division 25 Over League looks for sunshine

The 13th Stafford Motor Co. sponsored, “Honda” Trophy –MCA “G” division 25 Over League Tournament 2024 will continue this weekend with 20 half day matches. 

Last week rain was a spoiler, as 06 of the 08 matches scheduled for play on Sunday 12 May got washed out.

The 06 matches that got rained off were: MAC Holdings vs. Singer Sri Lanka “B”; Pelawatte Dairy vs. Brandix Apparel; Amazon Trading vs. Lion Bravery; Oriant Finance vs. JFandI Packaging; United Tractors vs. Revocare Solutions; and Wiley Global Technologies vs. Unilever.

In the 02 games that escaped the rain, Star Garments scored a thrilling 03 runs win over Hayleys Group “C”; Star Garments – 177/9 (25) , Hayleys “C” – 174/8 (25) and CDB “B” scored a comfortable 06 wickets win over MBSL; MBSL – 135/7 (25) , CDB “B” – 136/4 (18.3).
