MCA postpones Tier B Sixes

MCA hard ball Open Six a side, Tier “B” segment Tournament 2022, which attracted 43 teams, scheduled to be held this weekend, 15 and 16 October was indefinitely postponed for the 2nd time, due to incessant rain. 

Earlier it was scheduled for 3 and 4 September.

The plan was that the 43 teams, pooled into 14 groups to play at four venues, namely, D.S. Senanayake College, Royal College, Wesley College and Army Mattegoda on Saturday (15) and the Knockouts on Sunday (16) at MCA and Wesley College grounds.

The Tier “A” segment was conducted on 30 August at the MCA and Bloomfield grounds and here to the weather played spoil sport, as the final between the sponsor, Citizens Development Business (CDB) vs Hayleys Group “B” did not take place.
