MHA league tournament kicks off this weekend

The Mercantile Hockey Association (MHA) 2023 season will be bullied off with its 68th edition of “League” Tournament, on 24 and 25 June at Dharmapala Vidyalaya Grounds, Pannipitiya.

The tournament will be then continued at the same venue on 8, 22 and 23 July 2023.

12 Teams will play in 03 divisions as follows:

“A” Division – (contested for the Singer Sri Lanka Trophy) : HNB (2022 winner), Commercial Bank, Sampath Bank, MAS Holdings and Allianz Insurance (2022 “B” division winner)

“B” Division (contested for the Acuity Stock  Brokers Trophy ): Hayleys Group, HSBC, Browns Group and John Keells Group 

“C” Division (contested for the Phoenix Industries Trophy): Singer Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Telecom and Orient Finance.
