Macau requests neutral venue for second leg

Macau Football Association (MFA) has cited security reasons and will not tour Sri Lanka for the second leg of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 1. The second leg was to be played today at the Sugathadasa Stadium. Sri Lanka lost out the first leg 0/1 but was within a chance to get through to the next stage as they will have the home advantage and support from the local crowd. (SJ)
