Mackly elevates partnership with IImpact Franchise League

Becomes Title Sponsor for 2025-2027

The IImpact Franchise League has announced that Mackly, Sri Lanka’s leading brand in sleepwear, loungewear, and kids’ activewear, has strengthened its commitment to youth basketball by becoming the Title Sponsor for the 2025 to 2027 seasons.

Having been a dedicated partner of the League for the past two years, this marks the first time Mackly has stepped up as the Title Sponsor, solidifying its long-term support for the development of young athletes in Sri Lanka.

The 2025 season marks a significant expansion, with the introduction of U16 Boys and U16 Girls divisions alongside U13 Boys, bringing together over 120 athletes, 10 coaches, and more than 200 parents and supporters. What started as a small initiative has evolved into a structured franchise-based league, featuring a player draft, year-round tournaments, and a vibrant basketball ecosystem.

Mackly will also play a key role in hosting signature League events, such as the League Draft Night in February and the League Finals, providing unique engagement opportunities for players, families, and fans.

Mackly Founder Sharmila Srikumar shared her enthusiasm for the continued partnership: “At Mackly, we believe in confidence and comfort – whether it’s in how you dress or how you play. IImpact Hoop Lab Founder Praneeth Udumalagala emphasised the League’s growth and the role Mackly has played in its journey: “What started as a handful of kids playing pick-up games has grown into a competitive, structured franchise league with a draft system and an incredible community. Mackly has been with us every step of the way, championing our vision to create a platform where young athletes can push their limits. Basketball is a game that teaches life lessons, and we are excited to continue this journey together.”

The 2025 IImpact Franchise League will feature two official seasons, with Season 1 running from 19 February to 21 June and Season 2 from 20 September to 6 December, along with an unofficial summer season from June to August.
