Mahanama wins L.V. Jayaweera Boxing Meet

Mahanama College, Colombo was judged as the champions at the 46th L.V. Jayaweera Boxing Meet which took place at Sylvester’s College in Kandy recently.

More than 400 boxers from over 70 schools participated in this annual event which saw the Mahanama securing three Gold and One Bronze medals.

Saman College, Ratnapura won the second place while Maradana Zahira secured the third place in this event.
