Mahesh to continue as President, Nigel as skipper of Kandy SC

Kandy SC President Mahesh Weerasinghe and Captain Nigel Ratwatte will continue their leadership streak with the Kandy Sports Club for the 2021/2022 rugby season. 

The up-country club Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place yesterday at their Club House at Nittawela. 

Sri Lanka Cricket Executive Member and Central Province and Kandy District Cricket Secretary Janaka Pathirana will be one of the Vice Presidents along with veteran Anton Nanayakkara. Coming into the committee newly will be the former Trinity Rugby ‘Lion’ of 1983 Ashan Ratwatte, who led both Kandy SC and CR & FC.
