Malawana to coach Antonians

Former Vidyartha, Navy SC and national 15s player Sumedha Malawana will be the Head Coach of the Antonians rugby outfit in the 2020 rugby season.

Malawana, who was the deputy skipper of Vidyartha College in 1998, went on to represent the Sailors from 2000 onwards for 14 long years. He was no automatic choice for the national 15s team from 2002 to 2013. His last assignment was with Vidyartha College during the 2019 rugby season.
