Fast bowling all-rounder Manudi Nanayakkara will lead the Sri Lanka Under-19 girls’ cricket team to Australia to take part in the tri-series which also involves New Zealand.
The squad includes Limansa Tillakaratne, daughter of former Sri Lanka Captain Tillakaratne Dilshan, who is a resident in Australia and will join the rest of the team there.
Mithali Ayodya, who was selected in the 16-member squad will not be touring owing to an injury. She has been replaced by Erandi Hansamali.
During the tour, the girls will play both T20 and 50-over games. Sri Lanka’s campaign in the tri-nation series starts on 20 September.
