Manuel overall winner at VGR Monthly Medal

Outstanding golf by Manuel Toblas, who conquered the course with an outstanding Nett score of 68. This exceptional score secured him the coveted title of Overall Winner at the Victoria Golf Resort (VGR) Monthly Medal win recently at Rajawella.

The picturesque Victoria Golf Resort (VGR) in Rajawella, Digana played host to another thrilling edition of the Monthly Medal tournament, and this time, the competition was nothing short of spectacular. With the generous support of Epic Lanka as the event sponsor.

The Ladies› division saw some remarkable performances, with Ahalya Rajan emerging as the Nett Winner with an impressive Nett score of 83. In the Gross segment, Shirley Freeman demonstrated her exceptional golfing prowess, securing the Gross Winner title with a score of 111.

In the Gents Division, the competition was fierce. Nadesan Krishnakumar emerged as the Nett Winner with a score of 70, showcasing his consistent and skilful gameplay in the recent past. Clifford Fernando, former Trinity Cricket Captain demonstrated remarkable resilience to secure the Nett Runner-Up position with the same Nett score of 70. The Gross competition in the Gents division was equally intense. Lalith Rohitha delivered a stellar performance, clinching the Gross Winner title with a score of 86, while Naya Dehigama closely followed as the Gross Runner-Up with a score of 89.
