Matale Football League final on 13 March

City of Matale which is famous for its football and hockey will have the first-ever tournament conducted by Matale Football Federation after the COVID pandemic with a football tournament among the teams in Matale District. The final will take place on 13 March at the Bernard Aluvihare Stadium in Matale.

Kick-off is schedule at 3.30 pm.

In the first semi-final encounter worked off last weekend, Matale Youth SC outplayed Rebels SC by 4/1 while in the second encounter Goldmoon beat Camaroons SC 3 to nothing.

Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) Medical Committee Chairman Dr. Manil Fernando will grace the concluding ceremony as the Chief Guest with FFSL President Anura De Silva and FFSL Finance Committee Chairman R. Puvanendran as guest of honour.

This event is conducted under the presidency of one of the leading football players and referees Haris Raifaideen.
