Matt Lee appointed Fifteens Head Coach

Matt Lee back in Colombo at SLR	Former CH and Sri Lanka Sevens skipper Nazeem Mohamed is in charge of Sevens and Fifteens rugby from SLR

Former CH & FC, Trinity, Wellington Rugby Union Fifteens and Sevens Head Coach Matt Lee will take over the National Fifteens assignment with the Taipei tour next coming his way. 

Lee earlier was with CH & FC in the ’90s and took up coaching at Trinity but resigned even before the season kicked off. Lee is a former Wellington Rugby Union (WRU) Fifteens and Sevens Head Coach.

Former Trinity rugby “Lion” Haris Omar was appointed as the Continuous Improvement Consultant at Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) for the fifteen-a-side event in Taipei and is very likely to continue with the Asian Sevens series in Korea, China and Sri Lanka later on.

Sri Lanka Rugby Vice President Nazeem Mohamed will be in charge of the Sevens and Fifteens outfits from the governing body. (SJ)
