Mercantile Hockey Association holds 67th AGM

The 67th Annual General Meeting of the Mercantile Hockey Association (MHA) was held recently at the Red Wood Lounge at the BRC Club House.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Director V. Balagobi was unanimously elected as the President for the year 2023/2024. Chandana Weragama from Sampath Bank PLC was retained as the Secretary and Sameera Ushantha also from Sampath Bank PLC took over as the new Treasurer.

As an honour and mark of respect to the late Asif Bary (immediate past President) two minutes of silence was observed and a picture of him was unveiled by the senior officials of MHA.
