The T20 segment of the 27th MCA Premier League 2020 League was once again stopped in its tracks.

The MCA Tournament Committee, at its weekly meeting on Wednesday, decided to postpone the tournament indefinitely due to the poor weather conditions.

Six matches have been completed so far, out of which two have been washed out without a ball being bowled. Both games involved LB Finance, with them going up against John Keells and Hayleys. Group ‘A’ is wide open so far, with all teams completing two matches apiece. The points table currently stands as Hayleys Group on 6 points, LB Finance on 4 points, MAS Unichela on 4 points and JKH on 2 points.

Group ‘B’, which has only three teams, has found its semi-finalists with Dimo on 4 points and the Sri Lanka Cricket Emerging Team on 4 points. Sampath Bank, who had lost both their games, was knocked out of contention.
