Defending Singer league champions, Royal College and S. Thomas’ Mount Lavinia pulled out of the Milo President’s Knockout Trophy 2019, which is scheduled to kick off later this week at Royal Sports Complex.

Royal, Trinity and Thomians have cited Advanced Level examinations for the pullout of the Knockout encounter this year. Top six of the cup championship and the top two of the plate championship qualify for the knockouts. Royal pulling out gave Trinity the opportunity; they too cited the same reason of examinations for the pulling out.

Quarterfinals will be worked off on 6 and 7 July while the semifinals will be played on 13 and 14 July with the final on 20 July.

7 July
