Minister of Sports gifts Milo campaign winners with bicycles to encourage fitter, active lifestyle

Minister of Sports Namal Rajapaksa gifted Milo campaign winners with bicycles at a special event, in support of the brand’s campaign to help children stay physically active. The Minister recently launched a National Cycling Sunday, and strongly believes cycling is a great way to spend time outdoors and get some exercise. 

Milo’s latest campaign aims to provide a total of 10,000 children with Rs. 10 million worth of bikes, skateboards, basketballs, footballs, laptops, tabs, reloads and more, at a time where many struggling with remote learning and online classes, and parents are worried about the lack of outdoor playtime and physical activity for their children. The brand has awarded 8,000 winners so far, and will be gifting 1,000 winners every week up until 18 April. More information is available on the @MiloSriLanka Facebook page.
