Mobitel-backed Havelock Sports Club displays winning streak

Sponsored by Mobitel, Sri Lanka’s national mobile service provider, Havelock Sports Club continued its winning streak for the third game in the row at the Inter-Club Rugby Tournament by trumping the Navy Sports Club at Havelock Park on Saturday, 24 November. 

Battling harsh weather conditions, Havelock Sports Club used a combination of daredevil penalties, extras and a harsh defence to leave the Navy trailing behind at close of play. The team members displayed plenty of grit and skill in staying the course for three matches in a row, making a steady advance towards the tougher stages of the match.
