Monthly medal victoria golf resort: Wicky in sensational form

The picturesque greens of the victoria golf resort (VGR) in Rajawella bore witness to an exhilarating display of golfing prowess during the November monthly medal tournament by former Antonian, Wicky Wigneshwaran who was awarded as the overall winner. 

In the fiercely contested Ladies segment, Elka Westburg emerged as the Net Runner-Up with a commendable score of 81. Ingrid Baun secured the Net Winner title with an outstanding score of 71.

Melani Bond displayed exceptional skill, earning the Gross Runner-Up position with a score of 92, while Ahalya Rajan demonstrated her dominance in the game and at VGR by claiming the Gross Winner title with an impressive score of 84.

Chaminda Prabath showcased his skill to secure the Net Runner-Up position with a score of 79, while Dinesh Karunarathna emerged triumphant as the Net Winner with a stellar score of 71. In the Gross category, Alan Bond secured the Runner-Up position with a score of 87, while Derrick Ponnambalam claimed the Gross Winner title with a remarkable score of 80.

The Longest Drive competition saw Suresh Fernando crushing the competition with a powerful swing that propelled his ball farther down the fairway than any other contender. Meanwhile, Ahalya Rajan showcased pinpoint accuracy to claim the title of Nearest to the PIN.
