More postponements in Singer-MCA Premier League Match Program

The MCA Tournament Committee, after visiting the grounds and discussing the conditions with the ground curators, made further postponements to the 25th Singer-MCA Premier League Match Program. 

The tournament was scheduled to get off the ground on Wednesday, 6 September and all matches programmed for that day were hurriedly postponed.

The three postponed matches were: LB Finance vs. Sampath Bank at MCA; John Keells vs. Teejay Lanka at Colts; Commercial Credit vs. MAS Unichela at Katunayake.

Out of five matches that were scheduled for Saturday, 9 September, two have been postponed. They are MAS Unichela vs. LB Finance at Panagoda and Commercial Credit vs. John Keells at Maggona. 

The three matches that got the ‘green’ are: Hayleys vs. Teejay Lanka at De Soysa Park, Moratuwa; DIMO vs. Sampath Bank at Katunayake and HNB vs. Kanrich Finance at Colts. 

Out of the five games that were scheduled for Sunday, 10 September, two have been postponed. They are Teejay Lanka vs. DIMO at Panagoda and HNB vs. Hayleys at Maggona.

The three that will go on as scheduled are Sampath Bank vs. Commercial Credit at MCA; Kanrich Finance   vs. MAS Unichela at De Soysa Park, Moratuwa and John Keells vs. LB Finance at Katunayake. 

The tournament will be continued on Wednesday, 13 September with a card of five matches.
