Mumbai beat Lucknow with Madwhal’s 5 for 5

Mumbai Indians moved onto IPL Season 2023 Qualifier 2 after beating Lucknow Super Giants by 81 runs.

Batting first Mumbai Indians scored 182 for 8 and Lucknow managed only 101 before being bowled out in 16.3 overs.

For Mumbai the top scorer was Cameron Green with 41 whilst Syriyakumar Yadaw made 33. Naveen ul Haq bagged 4 for 38 for Lucknows.

In their reply, Marcus Stonis top scored with 40 for Lucknow Super whilst the rest under-performed.

Medium fast bowler Akshi Madhawal bagged 5 for 5 in an impressive spell.
