NDB and Brandix prop up Royal Rugby in big way

NDB and Brandix will prop up Royal Rugby in a big way as the Event Sponsor and Team Sponsor respectively for the 2023 season. 

There were also 16 other sponsors too who will support the Reid Avenue School this year during the rugby season. 

Royal will kick off their 2023 season on 17 June when they lock horns against St. Peter’s away in Bambalapitiya. They will play Vidyartha, Zahira, Dharmaraja and Trinity (second leg) as home games while St. Peter’s, Science and Trinity (first leg) will be away games.

Royal team is led by Randul Senanayake with Thivain Perera as his deputy.

Once again Dushantha Lewke will be their Head Coach of the outfit who was the schools Under-18 Head Coach on his earlier stints. He was the Assistant Under-20 coach of the Royal outfit in 2013 and took over in 2018. In 2018 and 2019 Royal was League Champions.

Other sponsors for Royal are SLT Mobitel, ATG, Ralham Sports, BOLT, Lanka Hospitals, Vision Care, Nestle MILO, Affinity Consulting, Elephant House/Krest, Quadrangle, Omnicom, Ceylon Cleaners, EFM, Homelands, EOAS and American Water.
