NDB secures fourth consecutive win

National Development Bank (NDB), who started on a negative note, losing their first two matches, ended their league stage matches on a positive note, registering their fourth successive win, beating the 2019 runners-up Central Finance by six wickets in the ongoing First ‘CBL-Munchee’ Trophy – MCA ‘D’ division 40-over League Tournament 2020, continued last weekend.

After three wins in a row, Hemas Group crashed with two defeats in row, losing to NDB by four wickets and David Pieris Motor Co. by two runs.

Ansell Lanka registered their third win on the trot with a crushing 136-run win over DPMC. 

The weekend’s batting honours went to Charuka Raveen from NDB (80 vs. Central Finance) and the bowling to Chathura Sanjeewa from Ansell Lanka (5 for 30 vs. DPMC).
