NEGC Ladies event to tee off today

The annually conducted Ladies events Captain’s Cup, President’s Prize and Bronze Cup  all three prestigious tournaments will take place starting today (12 November) and tomorrow at the century plus year old esteemed Nuwara-Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) course in the Hill Country.

The defending champion of the Ladies Captain’s Cup and Club Champion is Arika Wickremasingha but unfortunately, she will not be in action as she is currently overseas for her higher studies. Ladies will be playing Bronze Cup. Defending champion is Sumudu Desinghe.

The Captains Cup will take place today while the President’s Prize will take place on the final day -13 November. Ladies Club Championship will be played over two days on 12 and 13 of November 2022. NEGC has received over 20 entries for these events. The main sponsor of the event is Wurth Lanka.
