NSSF elected to ISSF Sustainability Committee

The National Shooting Sport Federation of Sri Lanka (NSSF) has been recognised by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), which had a representation of by 165 countries.

For the first time in the history of Sri Lanka’s Olympic shooting, a Sri Lankan has been elected in to the Sustainability Committee by the ISSF Council at its meeting held on 24 January.

NSSF is headed by Shirantha Peries, under which shooting sports in Sri Lanka has flourished in quality and quantity. Under Peries, the NSSF was able to construct a brand new national shooting range that is accessible to shooters of all categories.
