Nadesan Kishnakumar triumphs in thrilling Buchanan Cup

Nadesan Krishanakumar was in sparkling form at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) conducted Buchanan Cup 2022 tournament that took place at their club course in Hill Country recently. 

This prestigious tournament, held amidst the stunning backdrop of the scenic Nuwara Eliya golf course, lived up to its reputation as one of the most anticipated events on the golf calendar. 

In a thrilling battle on the greens, Kishnakumar showcased his prowess and poise, scoring an impressive 39 Stableford Points. Throughout the tournament, Kumar demonstrated exceptional skill and composure, making him a formidable contender right from the start. 

His journey to victory was far from easy, as he faced tough competition from K. Wigneswaran, who finished just one point behind with 38 points. Securing third spot on the podium was Suresh Jayasekeran, who delivered an impressive performance with 36 points. Jayasekeran’s consistent play added to the overall intensity of the competition, making the Buchanan Cup a memorable event for players and spectators alike. 

The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, known for its lush greens and breath-taking scenery, once again proved to be the perfect setting for this prestigious event.
