National Baseball Tournament to commence on 6 January

Sri Lanka Baseball conducted National Baseball Tournament 2024 will commence 6 January at the Diyagama International Baseball Ground.

This year marks a historic milestone with a record number of 19 teams converging from across the nation, competing with over 400 players in thrilling 18-game down for decision, and the final will take place on 21 January. 

The 19 teams competing in the tournament are SL Air Force Baseball Club, SL Navy Baseball Club, SL Army Baseball Club, Richmond Baseball Club, Sabaragamuwa University Baseball Club, Peradeniya University Baseball Club, Colombo University Baseball Club, Kothelawala Defence University Baseball Club, Old Nalanda Baseball Club, Prison Department Baseball Club, Siridamma Baseball Club, Colombo Strikers Baseball Club, Royal Blues Baseball Club, Ranabima Baseball Club , Frontiers Baseball Club, Kandy Baseball Club, Old Ananda Baseball Club, Athugala Baseball Club and Vikings Baseball Club. - (SJ)
