Sri Lanka Golf (SLG), National Ranking Tournament for August 2024 teed off yesterday with professional golfer, N. Thangaraja taking lead end of Day 1 at the Royal Colombo Golf (RCGC).
Day 1 saw some spectacular golf on the greens, with N. Thangaraja leading the way with a score of 66, followed by Chalitha Pushpika at 69. Meanwhile youngster, Kumar Danushan at 70 another promising star, Yannik Kumara secured 4th place with 71 while Husni Uwise ended on 5th place on 73.
Professional golfers such as Vinoth Kumar, N. Thangaraja and Priya Hemantha are teeing off at this event. 30 gents and 4 ladies are teeing off in this event.
This tournament will be worked off for 4 days ending on 29 August.
