National Schools Netball championship in Kandy

National Schools Netball Championship conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Netball Association (SSNA) under the patronage of the Ministry of Education will take place from 2 to 4 August at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy.

This event is sponsored by Nestle Lanka’s Milo brand for the 27th time in tandem.

A total of 460 teams in two Divisions, namely ‘A’ (370 teams), and ‘B’ (90 teams) will compete for honours in four age group titles. Teams in ‘A’ Division will compete in Under 13, 15, 17, 19 age groups, while teams in ‘B’ Group will battle it out in the Under 15, 17, and 19 segments. More than 700 schools competed at 15 centres at regional level to qualify for this final round which is assured to attract large spectators.
