Navy, Air Force win Seethadevi Hockey 6’s 2022

Sri Lanka Navy Men’s Winners

Sri Lanka Navy A (men’s) and Sri Lanka Air Force A (women’s) won their respective segments at the Seethadevi Girls College and Seethadevi Sports club organised six a side Hockey tournament which took place at the Asgiriya International Stadium last weekend.

Meanwhile, Trinity College beat Dharmaraja College in the under 16 boys while in the girl’s event Viharamahadevi beat St Anthony’s Convent in the final.

There were 24 men’s teams, 11 women’s teams, under 16 boys had 6 teams while in the same age group girls too had the same number of teams. In total, there were 47 teams in action.

Chief Guest was Sri Lanka Hockey Federation President P Vishwanathan and Seetahdevi Girls College Principal Chandrakanthi Karunanayake graced the occasion.

• Under 16 Boys: Trinity beat Dharmaraja 3/2 – Trinity Champions
• Under 16 Girls: Viharamahadevi beat St. Anthony’s 2/1 – Viharamahadevi Champions
• Men’s B Division Club: Colombo Colts beat Kingswood Hockey Club 1/0 – Colombo Colts Champions
• Women’s: Sri Lanka Air Force A beat Sri Lanka Air Force B 1/0 – Sri Lanka Air Force ‘A’ Champions
• Men’s A Division: Sri Lanka Navy A beat Sri Lanka Police 2/1 – Sri Lanka Navy Champions
