Navy Sports Club, under former Josephian, Kandy and Sri Lanka player Dhanushka Perera, looks a threatening outfit which possesses a high possibility of making it into the top three in the league this year around.

With the Rajapaksa brothers leaving to CH, along with Lee Keegale and Sajith Saranga, the sailors will depend heavily on their seniors to guide them through. They have some top quality products in their ranks. Saliya Handangoda, Kosala Tissera, Dinusha Chathuranga and Thilina Weerasinghe are very good players. They have also included Musheen Faleel, Mohamed Abzal and Rehan Thiyagaraja who could offer a major boost for the Welisara camp. They are coached by veteran Mothilal jayathilake.
