Nazeem continues to head WPRFU

Former Science College, CH&FC and national sevens skipper and Vice President of Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) Nazeem Mohamed was re-elected President of the Western Province Rugby Football Union

(WPRFU) at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) which took place at Havelock SC, Board Room yesterday.

Meanwhile, former Peterite and Havies player Roshan Deen was elected Deputy President. Former Peterite and Petersons SC Number 8 Rizly Ilyas will be the Patron of WPRFU.

The following names were elected office bearers for the year 2020/2021.

• Secretary – Waruna De Silva
• Assistant Secretary – Samantha Samarasighe
