Nazeem heads WPRFU

Nazeem Mohamed was elected as the President of the most powerful provincial rugby union, Western Province Rugby Football Union, at its Annual General Meeting held at SLRFU recently. He was appointed uncontested.

Nazeem represented Science College in Rugby and later went on to represent CH & FC and the National Team.

There was a contest for the post of Deputy President, Vice President and Asst. Secretary. Roshan Deen was elected as the Deputy President whilst Nalin Dissanayake and Shamrath Fernando were elected as Vice Presidents. Samantha Samarasinghe was elected as the Asst.
