Nilfer Ibrahim resigns from Joes

Former Kingswood, Kandy SC and Navy SC player and current Head Coach of Police SC and Joe’s rugby outfit, Nilfer Ibrahim resigned from the Darley Road School yesterday.

Nilfer who took over Joes in 2017 took them to Knock out championship win in the initial year. He took Joes to runner up position both in the League and Knock Out in the following year. 

In 2019 he was able to take Joes to number 3 position. The next two years COVID-19 pandemic allowed no rugby. 

Nilfer who took a one year stint at Kingswood returned to the Darley Road School once again in 2022 and continued till 2024.

In 2022 Joes ended as runner up both in the League and Knock out tournament while in 2023 he took the outfit to knock out, CR Sevens and All Island Sevens all reaching semi final stages. While Coaching the Cops this season, it is not clear which school team he will undertake In the near future.
