Niluka heads Lankan badminton team for Commonwealth Games

The Sri Lankan badminton outfit participating in the Commonwealth Games in Australia’s gold Coast will be led by Niluka Karunaratne. 

The team will feature alongside India, Pakistan and Scotland in the group stages where 16 teams will battle it out for top honours in four groups.

Sri Lanka will play Scotland on the opening day before facing Asian neighbours Pakistan and India on Day Two. The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinal stages.
