Nippon Paint Lanka – Title sponsor of New Zealand Cricket Tour of Sri Lanka 2024

As the Sri Lanka team takes on the Kiwis in the second test match of the 2024 tour, the New Zealand team will be playing to square the series. 

The Sri Lankans on the other hand will be playing for a series win that would improve their chances in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-2025, where they have already risen to third position behind India and Australia.

“In Sri Lanka, cricket is an obsession,” said Nippon Paint Lanka General Manager/Director Nemantha Abeysinghe. “Winning gives everyone a good feeling and we wish both teams success. We are happy to be the Title sponsors of this series. It’s a continuation of the Nippon Paint Lanka policy of nurturing sports in Sri Lanka and cricket in particular. The New Zealand series has created new opportunities for the Sri Lanka team with many young players,” Abeysinghe said.
