Nippon Paint, SLT Mobitel sponsor Sir Henry Steele Olcott Memorial Cricket tournament

Nippon Paint and SLT Mobitel will sponsor the Sir Henry Steele Olcott Memorial Cricket tournament which is being hosted by Rahula College Matara as part of the centenary celebrations.

The Sir Henry Steele Olcott Memorial Cricket Tournament is played between teams from Ananda College Colombo, Nalanda College Colombo, Dharmapala College Pannipitiya, Dharmaraja College Kandy, Maliyadeva College Kurunegala, Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda, Mahinda College Galle and Rahula College Matara.

A six-a-side Cricket tournament between school boy teams including the finals will be played on 18 November while an eight overs per side tournament for past cricketers of the eight schools will be played on 19 November. 

The semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday 20 November. All matches will be played at the Uyanwatta Stadium Matara. 

Nippon Paints General Manager Nemantha Abeysinghe handed over the sponsorship check to Rahula College Colombo OBA President Dr. Sujeewa Lokuhewa and Chief Organiser Gemunu de Silva at the Nippon Paint head office recently.

SLT Mobitel Regional head Ruwan Silva handed over the sponsorship check to  officials of Rahula College Colombo OBA at a press  briefing held at the Institute of Sports medicine on Friday.
