Nipun, Kamindu lead teams against England Lions

Sri Lanka have named a 22-member Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad to play England Lions in a series of two four-day unofficial tests and three unofficial ODIs.

Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad: Lasith Croospulle, Nishan Madushka (wk), Lahiru Udara (wk), Nipun Dananjaya (captain 4-day), Kamindu Mendis (captain – one-day), Sahan Arachchige, Thanuka Dabare, Shevon Daniel, Oshada Fernando, Nuwanidu Fernando, Janith Liyanage, Amshi de Silva, Milan Ratnayake, Shiran Fernando, Isitha Wijesundera, Chamindu Wijesinghe, Dhananjaya Lakshan, Suminda Lakshan, Praveen Jayawickrama, Lakshitha Manasinghe, Lasith Embuldeniya, and Dushan Hemantha.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Selectors have also decided to play the below players as and when needed during the upcoming games, as part of their preparation for the Sri Lanka tour of New Zealand.

Pathum Nissanka, Charith Asalanka, Chamika Karunaratne, Angelo Mathews, Dunith Wellalage, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Lakshan Sandakan, Vishwa Fernando, Pramod Madushan, Nuwan Thushara, Kavishka Anjula, Avishka Fernando, Dushmantha Chameera, and Kusal Perera.
