Nirekh Tejwani and Reshan Algama win Scanwell Logistics Open Trophy

Winners at Junior event

Nirekh Tejwani (Gold) and Reshan Algama (Silver) were in sparkling form ending as winner and runner-up at the Gold and Silver segments respectively at the Scanwell Logistics Open Trophy Golf Tournament 2022 which was worked off at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) recently.

Another junior top performing golfer K. Danushan too was in cracking form ending as runner up in the Gold Segment. Meanwhile Kaya Daluwatte returned to golf after a short break away from the island ending on third position overall.

Brothers Reshan and Keshav in sparkling form.

In the Silver Division Under-14 tournament brothers, Reshan Algama and Keshav Algama both were in classic form ending as the winner and runner-up respectively. This was Reshan Algama’s three in a row in the Silver Division with some powerful long ranging shots. The 12-year-old Keshav too had some very good junior outing in the recent past was in cracking form giving a good run for his brother.

Araadhi and Saqeeb win Bronze

In the Bronze Division Araadhi Samararatne won the event with another up-and-coming player and Thomian school boy Saqeeb Zuhar ended as runner-up.
