No victors at 89th Battle of the Maroons

Perera Trophy to the skippers of the Ananda and Nalanda 1st XI cricket team after a tame draw during the 89th Battle of the Maroons at the SSC Grounds in Colombo. The 89th battle of the Maroons between Ananda College and Nalanda College ended in a draw yesterday at the SSC Grounds in Colombo.

Ananda in their first innings was bowled out for 141 and Nalanda in reply scored 213 all out. In the second innings Ananda did well to score 252 for the loss of seven wickets.
